Delivery and Pickup

Delivery times vary depending on the product and/or available stock.

Silex is committed to doing its best to meet the requested delivery date by the customer. However, the customer acknowledges that delivery dates for products may vary and are beyond Silex's control. Therefore, the customer agrees that Silex assumes no responsibility for any delivery delays, whether caused by Silex or a third party, and acknowledges that Silex does not guarantee the delivery of the material on the requested delivery date. The customer further acknowledges and agrees that all transportation costs will be paid by the customer to Silex in accordance with the payment terms agreed upon by the parties, and that any transportation of goods by a third party is at the customer's own risk and expense, whether or not the transportation was arranged by Silex on behalf of the customer. Silex does not guarantee delivery or transportation by a third party, including but not limited to the quality of service or material delivery.

Can I come to pick up the products in-store?

For the waxed concrete coatings, you have the option to come pick them up in-store. However, we strongly recommend waiting for confirmation from Silex Element before heading over to ensure that your products are ready for pickup.

Regarding the panels and chevrons, please note that pickup by the end customer is not allowed. Only the partner store is authorized to facilitate the product handover. Therefore, we encourage you to refer to your partner store to arrange the retrieval of these items.

With regard to the retrieval of the panels from the warehouse by the partner, it should be noted that full responsibility rests with the partner from the moment they leave the warehouse premises. Silex Element cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for any damage that may occur during transport.

Peau de Béton

The panels Peau de Béton are fragile.

They must always be transported on their edge (on the side).

LightConcrete

The LightConcrete panels can travel flat if they are on a pallet*

* If they are not on a pallet, then refer to the transportation guidelines for Peau de béton panels.

Silex Element is not a store offering products ready for immediate use.

We take great care to prepare each order of coating kits or panels in a personalized manner. This ensures the integrity and quality of our products, with special attention given to every step of the process. Please note that this level of preparation requires a production lead time of two to three days, even if the products are in stock. We appreciate your understanding and patience, as our priority is to provide you with the highest quality products.

Before signing the receipt of the goods, it is important to:

  1. Check the order and ensure that the pallet is identical to the photo sent by Silex.
  2. Make necessary reservations on the delivery receipt (Possible damages/hidden damages presumed/ damages to inspect, etc.) in the presence of the delivery person/carrier.
  3. If necessary, take photos of the received order and contact us directly.
  4. Sign the delivery receipt.

Storage and

handling of panels

Silex Element panels require delicate handling. Make sure to carefully review these points to avoid potential errors.

To ensure the durability and quality of your panels, they should be stored indoors, in a dry place and protected from the weather. Exposure to outdoor elements such as rain, sun, or humidity can damage the panels and affect their performance. By keeping them indoors, you avoid the risks of premature degradation and preserve their integrity for optimal use.

To ensure proper preservation of your Peau de Béton panels, it's important to store them correctly.

Here are the recommendations for their storage:

Positioning: The panels should be placed on their edge, meaning vertically, against a solid wall. Ensure that the wall is clean and dry, with no risk of water splashes or excessive humidity.

Dry Area: Choose a dry location that is protected from humidity. Avoid areas prone to water infiltration or excessive humidity, as this could damage the panels and affect their structural integrity.

Protection from Cold: If you are in an area with extremely low temperatures, make sure to protect the panels from intense cold. Prolonged exposure to very cold temperatures can cause damage to the panels, so it's best to store them in a location where the temperature is controlled.

By following these storage instructions, you ensure that your Peau de Béton panels remain in good condition until they are ready to be used..

To ensure optimal preservation of your LightConcrete panels, it is essential to adhere to the following storage guidelines :

Vertical or Horizontal Placement: The panels can be stored either on the edge of their length in a vertical position against a solid and dry wall, or flat on a sturdy pallet. Choose the storage method that best suits your storage space and ensure that the panels are stable and well supported.

Dry Location: It is essential to place the panels in a dry area and protect them from moisture. Avoid areas prone to water leaks or excessive humidity, as this can affect the quality and performance of the panels.

Protection from Cold: If you are located in an area with extremely low temperatures, ensure to protect the panels from intense cold. Prolonged exposure to very low temperatures can damage the panels. Therefore, make sure to store them in a controlled temperature environment.

By following these storage recommendations, you ensure the preservation of the quality and integrity of your LightConcrete panels.
