Le Vernis Silex est un vernis uréthane bi-composant à base d'eau qui offre une protection supérieure contre l'eau et les tâches.
Specially designed for high-traffic areas and damp rooms, it makes surfaces more durable and waterproof.
It must be applied in 3 coats, the first coat acting as a primer. Read the instructions below carefully.

Instructions
This varnish serves as both a primer and a protective coating.
STEP 1 - Application of 2-components Varnish - FIRST COAT:
- Make the mixture respecting the proportions (3 A for 2 B),
- Let the mixture rest for 10 minutes once it has been stirred.
- Mix 7 parts water into the catalyzed mixture.
- Using a lint roller, apply generously over the entire surface, then roll to remove excess.
- The pot life of the varnish is 15 minutes*.
- Apply a first coat of using a foam paint roller.
Drying time: Once this first coat is dry, the second coat must be applied.
Advice: The 3 coats must be applied on the same day, otherwise light sanding is required between coats.
STEP 2 - Application of 2-components Varnish - SECOND COAT:
- Repeat the same operation as for the 1st coat of varnish (Primer) HOWEVER, the ratio of Qualified Varnish and water must be: 2 parts water to one part varnish.
Drying time: When dry to the touch.
STEP 3 - Application of 2-components Varnish - THIRD COAT:
- Make the mixture respecting the proportions (3 A for 2 B), without water.
Bien que le vernis soit résistant à travers le temps, pour préserver et sublimer la beauté de vos douches ou sols tout en renforçant leur protection, nous vous recommandons d'appliquer une nouvelle couche de vernis tous les deux ans.
